Fans have taken to social media to poke fun at Tommy Fury's footballing ability following his blundering appearance at Soccer Aid.<br/><br/>Twelve months after being mocked online for his performance in the annual charity game, the cruiserweight boxer returned to Mauricio Pochettino's World XI side.<br/><br/>Introduced as a first-half substitute in the clash at Stamford Bridge and deployed on the right wing, it is fair to say Fury didn't look quite as at home on the pitch as he does competing inside the ring.<br/><br/>The 25-year-old attempted to take on England's Mo Farah on the edge of the box, but his attempt to take the ball past his man resulted in a miskick that prompted a hilarious response from Pochettino and Robbie Keane in the dugout. <br/><br/>Then, from a subsequent throw-in, the undefeated fighter appeared to attempt to underarm roll the ball into play.<br/><br/>Following the fish-out-of-water performance, fans questioned just how much experience Fury had before the match.<br/><br/>One fan wrote: 'Tommy Fury has just actually done an underarm throw-in. mad that he doesn’t know the rules of football.'<br/><br/>Another added: 'Tommy Fury putting in a throw-in underarm. I don’t know why he keeps getting invited back<br/><br/>A further fan added: 'I used to think Lee Mack was the worst player to grace the#SoccerAid pitch but now it's Tommy Fury. Underarm throw in, and kicks the grass funny to watch. I hope he stays on.'<br/><br/>Joe Cole gave England the lead with a vintage finish at Stamford Bridge before his former Lille teammate Eden Hazard responded with a free-kick for the visitors.<br/><br/>Alessandro Del Piero gave World XI the lead shortly after but Ellen White equalised to become the first woman ever to score a goal at Soccer Aid. <br/><br/>With the celebrity goalkeepers substituted on for the second half, the floodgates were always going to open. It was England that struck first after the interval, with Dragons Den star Steven Bartlett that put the hosts back in front.<br/><br/>Jermaine Defoe added a second in his second appearance in the event since 2016, smashing his strike beyond Tony Bellew.<br/><br/>Bartlett then added a second to his tally en route to being named the player of the match before Billy Wingrove netted from twelve yards after Bobby Brazier brought down Patrice Evra.<br/><br/>The comeback was not to be, however, and Theo Walcott added a sixth for England as they secured their first Soccer Aid win since 2018.

Compulsion likes to do things differently, and South of Midnight is a shining example of just how far they’ll take that philosophy. This hauntingly gorgeous Deep South folktale is an action-adventure, with a unique identity that only this studio could have woven together.<br/><br/>In the first-ever gameplay trailer, revealed today at the Xbox Games Showcase, we got a glimpse of just why that is. The footage – taken from around a third of the way through the story – reintroduces us to our heroine Hazel (who we met in last year’s introductory trailer), now accompanied by a character who’ll follow her throughout the game, the loquacious Catfish. Following a Category 5 hurricane, Hazel has lost her mother, but gained once-dormant powers of Weaving, a magical ability that allows her to rework the tapestry of energy that makes up the universe. That doesn’t come too soon – reality itself has begun to fray, leading her deeper and deeper into a magical realist world, where folktale creatures have sprung to life, and corruption is overtaking the ruins left in the hurricane’s path.<br/><br/>As the trailer begins, Hazel and Catfish are on her mother’s trail – but spot one of the game’s mythical creatures, nightmarish bosses borne out of real-life folktales from the American South. In this case, we meet Two-Toed Tom – a blind, albino alligator the size of an island, offered new hunting grounds by widespread flooding. Catfish tells Hazel to travel to a dilapidated church and ring its bell to lure Tom so that they can escape, and we see her using a variety of Weaving powers to bypass obstacles – until she meets a Haint.<br/><br/>Haints are the game’s most common enemies, and come in many forms – what we see here is a Brute archetype, a mass of twisted negative energy given form by the trauma of the world around it. In practice, we see a combat sequence, Hazel using her Weaving powers to attack the threat with both Weaving tools and magic – but in storytelling terms, she’s weakening the dark psychic energy left behind here, until she’s literally given the option to ‘Unravel’ it with a finishing move. And here’s the key – as the Haint is yanked back out of reality, we see flowers bloom around Hazel. She hasn’t killed something – she’s fixed what was broken.
