Davey Hamilton, from Indianapolis, was struggling to find the truck of his dreams. But having been inspired by his friend in Maine, another former driver who owned a truck, Davey decided to take things one step further. But to build his backwards truck, Davey had to first find a truck with a big back window that could act as a windscreen. Davey told R.Rides: “A lot of the older trucks have really small back windows; they don’t have the wide ones. I couldn’t find a truck with a big back window. I happened to find this truck three miles from my father’s house and knew I had to get it.” The truck had its original body, frames and pedals. “We had put the lights on obviously, going the wrong direction. I didn't know what to do for bed cover. So, we figured to keep the rustic look.” Davey had to do a lot of work for the truck to work just right. “We had to cut a hole between the bed of the truck and the cab of the truck for your feet to go in. And so that had to be sealed up so there's no water getting inside the truck.” With the seats in and doors on, the truck still had a little to go before making its road debut. The windshield wipers got installed to make it safe, so the truck had everything that’s required to get going. “It looks like it's supposed to go forward. And so, it took some time and to get everything levelled out and make sure that was mounted properly.” And Davey loves his creation for lots of reasons. “Number one, it’s an attention getter. Number two, it's definitely a fan favourite, number three, it was a lot of work. There's new people that see it every time we take it out and it's definitely a crowd getter.”")

_nfl-draft-2024-day-1-dallas-cowboys-draft-offensive-tackle-tyler-guyton-in-the-first-round-as-29th-overall-pick.webp "The Dallas Cowboys selected Oklahoma OT Tyler Guyton as their 29th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. The Cowboys traded down from 24th pick to the 29th, giving the Detroit Lions their 24th overall pick as well as their 7th overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft in return for the 29th pick and the 73rd pick in the third round. Giving Dallas four picks in the top 100 this draft. <br/><br/>Guyton is a Texas native coming from the small town of Manor Texas. He started his college career at TCU where he played in nine games. He then transferred to the University of Oklahoma and played in 20 games for the Sooners. He played most of his games at right guard. At his time in Oklahoma he started in 14 of the 20 games and allowed just two sacks in all 20 games. <br/><br/>Guyton earned honorable mention All-Big12 and played a career high 663 snaps and allowed zero sacks on his 355 pass-blocking snaps. <br/><br/>Offensive line was a definite area that the Cowboys needed to focus on this draft and was arguably the most important position to get to. With the loss of center Tyler Biadasz and offensive tackle Tyron Smith there were some holes that Dallas needed to fill, Guyton just filled one of them. <br/><br/>After the pick we spoke with Jerry Jones and he said that trading down still accomplished what they needed to do and it worked out in their favor. With the trade they also received a third round pick which Stephen Jones said that was something they really wanted. <br/><br/>The draft will continue on Friday and Saturday. The Cowboys have three more picks in the top 100 at 56, 73, 87.")
