On Sunday, April 17, the Friendship Center at Holy Comforter was re-affirmed as a Jubilee Ministry of The Episcopal Church. The Rev. Alexis Chase, the vestry and program directors committed to continue providing direct service to the poor and oppressed and to empower people toward self- sufficiency. A Jubilee Ministry since 1999, the Center will continue partnering with local agencies and churches to advocate for its members through its programs in Greenhouse and Gardening, Wellness and Recovery
