Description: The fortifications at Sydney's Middle Head were built between 1801 and 1942. Although they were never used as a defence, they were used as training facilities for the Australian Army during WWI, WWII and the Vietnam War. These weathered structures still stand along the headland and are open to the public.nSong: 'Planxty Roland' by Dr Strangely Strange
