Description: Time lapse of Asteroid 2014 JO25 as it made its closest approach to Earth on 19 April 2017. This covers from 9:20 to 11:09 p.m. CDT, taken from a moderately light polluted site in Huntsville, Alabama. The asteroid appears near the left edge then crosses to the right, with passing clouds obscuring the asteroid about half the time. The clearest view is near the end of the video. Canon 6D with Canon 200mm f/2.8 lens at f/4.0, 10 sec exposures every 12 sec, ISO2500. Star tracking with an Astrotrac.
