The choreography and performing of this dance is a creative response to the Church and the City course. In general, the piece invites the audience to see into the story of one who experienced some kind of abuse, by society, a lover, a guardian, a stranger, or one’s own internal psychosis and was driven to find a home in a world that marks one as an “other” to the world. The feelings of being trapped in abuse, trying to leave, but feeling dirty and marked as one to be avoided and dismissed,
