Description: The St Fittick Art Festival based at Old Torry and funded by Big Lottery Fund, commissioned a team of youngsters from Walker Road Primary to produce an animation inspired by the poem 'The Sinking of the Oscar' by William Cadenhead. With the support of The Reading Bus team they were able to produce their own ballad, art, animation and music. Their work tells the story of Aberdeen's whaling fleet and the disastrous end for the Oscar and it's crew in the year 1813.
