_92.webp "Credit: SWNS <br/><br/>A woman whose stalker proposed to her at work after having met her just once was so terrified of him she couldn't close her eyes in the shower.<br/><br/>Jennifer Pickering, 32, has bravely opened up about her terrifying ordeal in a bid to encourage other women to report similar harassment.<br/><br/>Jennifer only met her stalker once, in March 2022, before he started bombarding her with sexually explicit messages, moving house to be closer to her, and even proposing to her at her place of work.<br/><br/>Jennifer immediately contacted the police and Jan Schlossar, 42, pleaded guilty to two counts of stalking without serious alarm and distress.<br/><br/>He was given a lifetime restraining order in June 2022, but within two hours of his release from prison on 16th September, he contacted Jennifer again leading to his arrest and remand.<br/>")
