Description: Inspired by the flowing movements of Tai Chi, human geometries translated into spatial geometries to create a novel dance performance. Kinect motion-tracking technology is used to track joint movement and hand gestures. Processing process these data into the visual presentation and projected on the canvas behind the dancer. The aim of this project is to simulate a collaborative spatial engagement for a somesthetic experience, as a homage to the nature of balance.nnResearchers: Qianhua Fu, Shu Xi
