She invites her old art teachers from Ysgol Greenhill and St Teilos, and any others who knew her growing up as a child, to the exhibition, on display from May 3 to June 16.<br/>“I’m so excited to finally share my artwork in such a professional platform, in a beautiful historic spot, Tenby Museum and Art Gallery,” said Rachel. <br/>“I visited the museum many times as a child; overlooked the best beach I played on every summer growing up. We’d run from school straight to the beach and if it started raining we’d either run to the Dennis cafe or take a trip to the museum. <br/>“It’s so nice to finally hold a special exhibition in such a special place. That’s why it’s called ‘Tenby Treasures, Nostalgic Brushstrokes’.”<br/>‘Tenby Treasures: Nostalgic Brushstrokes’ will mark Rachel’s first solo exhibition in her home town of Tenby.<br/>Rachel’s work is a reflection of what she loves most about nature. Painting seascapes and landscapes, capturing dramatic skies, evocative reflections with attention to detail. Recently, painting pebbles has become a trademark of hers.<br/>Rachel, who was born and brought up in Tenby, Pembrokeshire, became a self-taught artist at an early age. Drawing from the beauty on her doorstep, Rachel loves to paint the South Wales coastline. _st-george39s-day-rally-riot-cops-clash-with-crowds-as-police-horse-is-attacked-near-downing-street.webp "A St George's Day rally in London descended into chaos today as riot officers clashed with crowds and a police horse was attacked near Downing Street. <br/><br/>Mounted police intervened after a group broke through a cordon formed to stop people moving past the area that had been allocated for the event. <br/><br/>This led to scuffles breaking out, with footage appearing to show one of the horses being struck by a man with an umbrella. <br/><br/>The melee happened just before the main rally at 3 pm, where Tommy Robinson and Laurence Fox joined crowds singing along to songs including Sweet Caroline. <br/><br/>The Met said officers were forced to respond when a group 'violently' forced through police blockades. <br/><br/>But it prompted claims of 'two-tier policing', with critics suggesting pro-Palestine marchers were treated more favorably. <br/><br/>The Met shared a video that appears to show officers forming a cordon but a group, some waving flags and others wearing St George's flags, pushing past it before two mounted officers on horses intervene.<br/><br/>A spokesman said: 'The event is not due to start for an hour and regrettably officers are already dealing with disorder.<br/><br/>'There is an area allocated for this event in Richmond Terrace. This group went past it and continued up Whitehall.<br/><br/>'When officers formed a cordon and asked the group to turn round, they reacted by violently forcing their way through.
