The legislative package also contains text that would ban TikTok in the United States if the popular social media app does not immediately sever ties with its Chinese parent company. The passage of the bill, which also provides much-needed humanitarian aid for Gaza, Sudan, and Haiti, comes after months of heated debate among lawmakers over how or even whether to help Ukraine defend it self.<br/><br/>After being passed by the United States House of Representatives, the aid package bill will then be submitted to US President Joe Biden.
