The Manchester Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) is rich with original, “world first” exhibits from Manchester’s past, present and future. We were asked by MOSI to design their new Revolution Manchester Gallery – a 20,000 sq ft space inside a Grade 1 listed warehouse on the site of the world’s first railway station and the main entrance gallery to the Museum itself. Our main challenge was to make their unique content relevant to an audience of young, old, novice and expert alike. M

_slow-motion-on-c100.webp "I wanted to know how well the Canon C100 could do slow motion. I decided to record in 60i frames per second with a shutter speed of 1/120s. Captured the files directly on the Atomos Ninja 2. In FCP X I checked the deinterlace box and made sure the Field Dominance Override was set to Upper First for each file. The files were now set as 59,94p files.nnI used a 29,97p timeline, placed the files on the timeline and chose automatic speed for a 50% playback speed. This works pretty good and the result")
