Description: Tornadoes were spotted in rural Oklahoma on Monday evening, while large hail pelted parts of Kansas. The National Weather Service issued a rare high-risk warning for Oklahoma and Kansas due to the threat of strong, long-track tornadoes. At least four tornadoes touched down in north-central Oklahoma near towns like Bartlesville and Dewey. Hail up to 3 inches in diameter was reported near Ellinwood, Kansas. Over 3.4 million people in Oklahoma, Kansas, and North Texas are at the highest risk of damaging weather. Forecasters warn that strong tornadoes could last into the evening hours.
