The YouTube charity match between Beta Squad and AMP had to be abandoned after fans stormed onto the pitch towards the end of the game.<br/><br/>With the two teams level at 6-6 at Selhurst Park, penalties were looming.<br/><br/>However, the game had to be called off as hundreds of fans entered the pitch.<br/><br/>The referee instructed players to leave the pitch, with stewards unable to bring a halt to the swarm of fans. <br/><br/>The scenes marked a sorry end to what had been an entertaining game. <br/><br/>Former Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge had made a surprise appearance in the game.<br/><br/>The 34-year-old had an inviting opportunity to score but he was unable to find the net.<br/><br/>Sturridge made up for his miss, though, as the ex-England international eventually managed to score.<br/><br/>A mystery professional footballer stole the show as he scored a superb solo goal.<br/><br/>The Premier League player wore a black and red mask to hide his identity and found the net twice, although he also scored an own goal.<br/><br/>Proceeds from the game went to The Water Project, which provides clean water to villages across Sub-Saharan Africa.

Elisa De Almeida’s superb volley, which brought France level after Beth Mead had opened the scoring, was undoubtedly the best moment of a game lacking quality.<br/><br/>‘The result is disappointing and I think unnecessary,’ Wiegman said.<br/><br/>‘I think our performance was good for most parts of the game. The first part of course was very different than [what] we were expecting, so we had to find our feet to get started. After that we did well, we scored a goal, I think we had chances of scoring more, and then they scored from a corner. That was disappointing.<br/><br/>‘Then in the second half, I think we controlled the match more than we did in the first half.
