This musical recording, titled “Experimental 1,” is a live coding session created using Sonic Pi. I wanted to create a music piece with a dark, ambient, new wave vibe. I decided to base my composition on the C diminished 7 chord , which is known for having an erie, dissonant mood. I started with two C root notes (number 60) in a live loop and sustained the first note at 1.5. I added a second note to line up with the second C.
