A rare occasion for our family members to be all in one place. I came to Leningrad from London in 1990 and filmed this clip in our parents' flat. My brother Alexei was there too at the time. He visited our parents from Ukraine, where he lived since graduating from medical college. He was sent to Poltava to work for two years, but did not return to Leningrad after getting married there. Both of our parents have passed away since and this short film is the only existing visual record of all of us
