Taihape is known as the Gumboot town of New Zealand, after the gumboot throwing contest they hold annually.nIt is actually a really lovely little place.nThese guys were such a lovely couple & their families were so great at making us feel at home in Taihape.nAfter the church service we went down to to the spectacular river for photos, then stopped in town on the way back & of course at the giant gumboot!!nThe reception was held at the golf course which has magnificent veiws.nA great day
