To facilitate a comprehensive understanding, we have included accurate and eloquent translations in English and Urdu.<br/><br/>Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 228 (Arabic Recitation): “ وَبُعُولَتُهُنَّ أَحَقُّ بِرَدِّهِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ إِنۡ أَرَادُوٓاْ إِصۡلَٰحٗاۚ وَلَهُنَّ مِثۡلُ ٱلَّذِي عَلَيۡهِنَّ بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِۚ وَلِلرِّجَالِ عَلَيۡهِنَّ دَرَجَةٞۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ ”<br/><br/>Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 228 (English Translation): “ And their husbands have more right to take them back in this [period] if they want reconciliation. And due to them [i.e., the wives] is similar to what is expected of them, according to what is reasonable. But the men [i.e., husbands] have a degree over them [in responsibility and authority]. And Allāh is Exalted in Might and Wise. ”<br/><br/>Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayat 228 (Urdu Translation): “ ان کے خاوند اس مدت میں انہیں لوٹا لینے کے پورے حقدار ہیں اگر ان کا اراده اصلاح کا ہو۔ اور عورتوں کے بھی ویسے ہی حق ہیں جیسے ان پر مردوں کے ہیں اچھائی کے ساتھ۔ ہاں مردوں کو عورتوں پر فضلیت ہے اور اللہ تعالیٰ غالب ہے حکمت واﻻ ہے۔ ”<br/><br/>The English translation by Saheeh International and the Urdu translation by Maulana Muhammad Junagarhi, both published by the renowned King Fahd Glorious Qur'an Printing Complex (KFGQPC). To facilitate a comprehensive understanding, we have included accurate and eloquent translations in English and Urdu.<br/><br/>Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 228 (Arabic Recitation): “ وَٱلۡمُطَلَّقَٰتُ يَتَرَبَّصۡنَ بِأَنفُسِهِنَّ ثَلَٰثَةَ قُرُوٓءٖۚ وَلَا يَحِلُّ لَهُنَّ أَن يَكۡتُمۡنَ مَا خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ فِيٓ أَرۡحَامِهِنَّ إِن كُنَّ يُؤۡمِنَّ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡأٓخِرِۚ ”<br/><br/>Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 228 (English Translation): “ Divorced women remain in waiting [i.e., do not remarry] for three periods, and it is not lawful for them to conceal what Allāh has created in their wombs if they believe in Allāh and the Last Day. ”<br/><br/>Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayat 228 (Urdu Translation): “ طلاق والی عورتیں اپنے آپ کو تین حیض تک روکے رکھیں ، انہیں حلال نہیں کہ اللہ نے ان کے رحم میں جو پیدا کیا ہو اسے چھپائیں، اگر انہیں اللہ تعالیٰ پر اور قیامت کے دن پر ایمان ہو، ”<br/><br/>The English translation by Saheeh International and the Urdu translation by Maulana Muhammad Junagarhi, both published by the renowned King Fahd Glorious Qur'an Printing Complex (KFGQPC).
