To facilitate a comprehensive understanding, we have included accurate and eloquent translations in English and Urdu.<br/><br/>Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 232 (Arabic Recitation): “ وَإِذَا طَلَّقۡتُمُ ٱلنِّسَآءَ فَبَلَغۡنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ فَلَا تَعۡضُلُوهُنَّ أَن يَنكِحۡنَ أَزۡوَٰجَهُنَّ إِذَا تَرَٰضَوۡاْ بَيۡنَهُم بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِۗ ذَٰلِكَ يُوعَظُ بِهِۦ مَن كَانَ مِنكُمۡ يُؤۡمِنُ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡأٓخِرِۗ ذَٰلِكُمۡ أَزۡكَىٰ لَكُمۡ وَأَطۡهَرُۚ وَٱللَّهُ يَعۡلَمُ وَأَنتُمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ ”<br/><br/>Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 232 (English Translation): “ And when you divorce women and they have fulfilled their term, do not prevent them from remarrying their [former] husbands if they [i.e., all parties] agree among themselves on an acceptable basis. That is instructed to whoever of you believes in Allāh and the Last Day. That is better for you and purer, and Allāh knows and you know not. ”<br/><br/>Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayat 232 (Urdu Translation): “ اور جب تم اپنی عورتوں کو طلاق دو اور وه اپنی عدت پوری کرلیں تو انہیں ان کے خاوندوں سے نکاح کرنے سے نہ روکو جب کہ وه آپس میں دستور کے مطابق رضامند ہوں ۔ یہ نصیحت انہیں کی جاتی ہے جنہیں تم میں سے اللہ تعالیٰ پر اور قیامت کے دن پر یقین وایمان ہو، اس میں تمہاری بہترین صفائی اور پاکیزگی ہے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ جانتا ہے اور تم نہیں جانتے۔ ”<br/><br/>The English translation by Saheeh International and the Urdu translation by Maulana Muhammad Junagarhi, both published by the renowned King Fahd Glorious Qur'an Printing Complex (KFGQPC). And if he [i.e., the latter husband] divorces her [or dies], there is no blame upon them [i.e., the woman and her former husband] for returning to each other if they think that they can keep [within] the limits of Allāh. To facilitate a comprehensive understanding, we have included accurate and eloquent translations in English and Urdu.<br/><br/>Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 231 (Arabic Recitation): “ وَإِذَا طَلَّقۡتُمُ ٱلنِّسَآءَ فَبَلَغۡنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ فَأَمۡسِكُوهُنَّ بِمَعۡرُوفٍ أَوۡ سَرِّحُوهُنَّ بِمَعۡرُوفٖۚ وَلَا تُمۡسِكُوهُنَّ ضِرَارٗا لِّتَعۡتَدُواْۚ وَمَن يَفۡعَلۡ ذَٰلِكَ فَقَدۡ ظَلَمَ نَفۡسَهُۥۚ ”<br/><br/>Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 231 (English Translation): “ And when you divorce women and they have [nearly] fulfilled their term, either retain them according to acceptable terms or release them according to acceptable terms, and do not keep them, intending harm, to transgress [against them]. And whoever does that has certainly wronged himself. ”<br/><br/>Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayat 231 (Urdu Translation): “ جب تم عورتوں کو طلاق دو اور وه اپنی عدت ختم کرنے پر آئیں تو اب انہیں اچھی طرح بساؤ، یا بھلائی کے ساتھ الگ کردو اور انہیں تکلیف پہنچانے کی غرض سے ﻇلم وزیادتی کے لئے نہ روکو، جو شخص ایسا کرے اس نے اپنی جان پر ﻇلم کیا۔ ”<br/><br/>The English translation by Saheeh International and the Urdu translation by Maulana Muhammad Junagarhi, both published by the renowned King Fahd Glorious Qur'an Printing Complex (KFGQPC).
