Rich Man Has Pininfarina Crafts Bespoke Reversario Opposite Anniversary.<br/>The owner of the fifth Battista Anniversario has put the twin of his electric hypercar into service.<br/><br/>Automobili Pininfarina has created a one-off order of the Battista electric hypercar for a private customer who already owns the Anniversario.<br/>Nicknamed Reversario, this vehicle has the exact opposite features compared to its Anniversarios.<br/>The lucky owner of the Anniversario and Reversario duo claims that the twin models “can never be separated because they are truly integral in design.”<br/>If you are entering the market for dedicated hypercars such as the Pininfarina Battista, you may have the privilege of being deeply involved in the development process; this can spark interesting ideas. That's what happened when the owner of the fifth of five Anniversario special editions ordered another example of the electric hypercar and asked Automobili Pininfarina designers to create the exact opposite: the Reversario.<br/><br/>The Pininfarina Battista Anniversario was released in 2020, celebrating the company's 90th anniversary, with a special livery and limited production of five units. As the name suggests, Battista Reversario creates the perfect twin by reversing the colors of the original.<br/><br/>The main bodywork and five-spoke wheels are painted in Bianco Sestiere gloss, while the upper part is painted in Grigio Antonelliano gloss. Like the original, the Iconica Blu stripe highlights the dual-tone finish with matching accents around the body. Additionally, a unique badge has been added to the lower part of the active rear spoiler, as well as the Reversario lettering on the carbon side wings.<br/><br/>The Reversario's interior is also the exact opposite of the black-themed Anniversario; It has white Alcantara and leather upholstery. STI Sport Black Interior Selection is now available for the Japanese-spec Subaru Forester.<br/><br/>The fifth-generation Subaru Forester continues to experience another model year in Japan with its carried over design and powertrains.<br/>Model year updates include the addition of the new STI Sport Black Interior Selection special edition.<br/>The US-spec Forester Wilderness' Geyser Blue is available only for Japan-spec X-Edition and XT-Edition models.<br/>Subaru may have introduced the new sixth generation of the Forester in North America, but Japanese buyers will have to make do with the current model, which has been on the market since 2018. The domestic version Forester will receive minor model year updates for 2024, including the new STI Sport. A Black Interior Select trim is available, adopting an all-black theme for the cabin.<br/><br/>The exterior of the SUV remains unchanged since its last facelift in 2021. However, Subaru aims to maintain buyer interest with new equipment and special versions. The company is introducing the Subaru Forester STI Sport Black Interior Selection special edition for the 2024 model year.<br/><br/>Based on the current STI Sport trim introduced in 2022, this version features a darker interior that combines Nappa leather upholstery for the seats with silver stitching and piano black inserts.<br/><br/>Additionally, the STI Sport Black Interior Selection can be combined with the exclusive Offshore Blue Metallic exterior colour. It does, however, feature a set of STI-tuned dampers, resulting in improved credential processing.<br/><br/>Another highlight of the 2024 MY is the Geyser Blue color, available exclusively for the X-Edition and XT-Edition trims. This is the same color used on the US-spec Subaru Forester Wilderness, first introduced in Japan in late 2022 with the XT-Edition.<br/><br/>Both the X-Edition and XT-Edition trims are equipped with waterproof upholstery, durable cargo floor lining and black interior accents. The main difference is that the Forester X-Edition gets the 2.0-litre e-Boxer hybrid powertrain, while the XT-Edition gets the more powerful 1.8-litre turbocharged engine. All trims of the Forester come standard with Subaru's Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system.<br/><br/>Pricing for the 2024 Subaru Forester in Japan starts at ¥3,069,000 ($20,040). As for special trims, the X-Edition starts at ¥3,377,000 ($22,051), the XT-Edition starts at ¥3,432,000 ($22,411), and the STI Sport Black Interior Select starts at ¥3,850,000 ($25,137).<br/><br/>This may be the last model year of the fifth-generation Subaru Forester in the Japanese market. Just like the Taycan Turbo GT, Four Rings is putting the finishing touches on a new flagship. It is called RS E-Tron GT Performance, reminiscent of gasoline models such as the RS6 and RS7 Performance versions.<br/><br/>Just as the current RS E-Tron GT won't be as intense as the Taycan Turbo S, it won't be as harsh as the Zuffenhausen model. However, there will be a power increase over the 637 hp and 612 lb-ft offered by the current range-topping. Audi is being coy about details (it's a teaser, after all) but is sharing images of a camouflaged car with ceramic brakes hiding behind aero wheels.<br/><br/>The revamped front and rear engines are unlikely to match the Taycan Turbo S's 938 horsepower, let alone the fierce Turbo GT's whopping 1,019 horsepower. We know that Audi engineers made changes not only to the powertrain but also to the battery pack for longer range. For reference, the new Taycan with Performance Battery Plus has a usable energy content of 98.6 kWh, while the base model has a net battery pack of 83.6 kWh.<br/><br/>Charging speed has also increased; This is no surprise considering the latest Taycan can now get 320 kW of power instead of 270 kW. Elsewhere, Audi has developed a new suspension system consisting of four individually active double-valve shock absorbers. This more responsive hardware will be adapted from the new Porsche Panamera. On the Audi, the suspension has been tuned for greater comfort compared to the sharper Taycan.<br/><br/>Audi plans to introduce the 2025 E-Tron GT later this year.
