The shape of the seat has been precisely designed to offer great comfort to suit all conditions of use, and its geometry manages to achieve 230 mm of ground clearance for ideal off-road use.<br/><br/>For brakes, go for the Brembo with two Stylema calipers mounted on two 320mm discs; At the rear, a twin-piston caliper does the same with a 265mm disc.<br/><br/>The variety of electronic aids is huge. It represents Porsche returning to sprinkle new intrigue into the more affordable end of the 911 range, between the launch of the quarter-million-pound special edition and the next.<br/><br/>Here the T stands for Touring, but '911 Lightweight' would perhaps be a better descriptor for this car, as simplicity is what saves weight and appeals to the driver.<br/><br/>Sitting between the standard Carrera and the well-established Carrera S, the T risked becoming a somewhat half-hearted, middling model with no clear raison d'être. However, Porsche has given the vehicle some special equipment features and an uncompromising character definition.<br/><br/>DESIGN AND STYLE<br/>Porsche 911 Carrera T is easiest to describe as the sportiest chassis of the 911 Carrera S, with its less powerful, 380 hp Carrera-specific six-cylinder at the rear. But while broadly lifelike, this omits many of the finer details that set this car apart.<br/><br/>Porsche adds the 10mm lowered PASM Sport adaptive damping suspension to the entry-level 911 Carrera, which is usually only available as an option from the Carrera S trim level upwards. Also added as standard are Carrera S 20/21-inch alloys, active sports exhaust, PTV mechanical locking rear differential and Porsche's Sport Chrono Package (with dynamic engine mounts). You can optionally add four-wheel steering, but PDCC active anti-roll bars are not offered.<br/><br/>Porsche uses the seven-speed manual transmission as standard, which it added to the 911 Carrera S shortly after the launch of the '992' generation car. This makes the Carrera T the only 911 yet available to combine Porsche's 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six engine with a three-pedal transmission.<br/><br/>Carrera T has Sport-Tex fabric upholstered front seats as standard instead of Carrera's leather seats, but its default equipment does not include '+2' rear seats. It has lightweight glass, a lightweight battery, and is stripped of most of the 992's soundproofing insulation.<br/><br/>As such, the Carrera T's homologated curb weight is 1470kg without fuel or driver; That's just 52kg heavier than the three-pedal 911 GT3, but just 10kg lighter than the comparable Carrera S.<br/><br/>The Carrera T's signature Agate Gray appears on most of the fascia trim; For an extra fee, you can add Slate Gray seat belts, seat details and carpet stitching. However, there is no dedicated short-throw gear lever here. The matte black touches, including 911 Carrera T-branded sill plates, are pleasantly understated, but there's little that feels truly different or special from other 911s.<br/><br/>The primary control layout and ergonomic implementation are mostly very good. A low, well-supported riding position has all the room even tall drivers will need. The steering column is set wide and the pedal placement is slightly offset on the inside of the wheel arch. Toyota's venerable off-roader gets a new redesign, a new hybrid powertrain, and tougher Trailhunter trim.<br/><br/>The last time the Toyota 4Runner came out new, President Obama was new to the Oval Office and the Black Eyed Peas were at the top of the Billboard charts. This was 15 years ago. There's now a new 4Runner – finally – and even though Toyota has rebuilt its iconic off-roader from the ground up, it retains its rugged spirit.<br/><br/>Also based on the new Tacoma, the 2025 4Runner uses the same TNGA-F truck architecture. It ditches the old 4.0-liter V-6 and five-speed automatic in favor of a standard turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 278 horsepower and 378 pound-feet of torque. That's 8 more hp than the current 4Runner and a whopping 100 additional pound-feet.<br/><br/>The optional I-Force Max hybrid version of the same engine produces 326 hp and 465 lb-ft. Both of these powertrains ditch the old five-speed in favor of a new eight-speed automatic transmission. Unfortunately, there is no manual to be found.<br/><br/>The 4Runner will be offered with two-wheel drive, part-time four-wheel drive and full-time four-wheel drive, depending on how you specify it. All 2WD models will feature a limited-slip differential, while 4WD models will feature the same LSD and electronically controlled two-speed transfer case with high- and low-range gearing, as well as Toyota's Active Traction Control (A-Trac).<br/><br/>There's also what Toyota calls the new Stabilizer Bar Disconnect Mechanism for better articulation. This one-button access system allows the 4Runner to flex while keeping its tires on the ground. The 4Runner has a 32-degree approach and 24-degree departure angle.<br/><br/>And the new 4Runner promises to be even more capable. Mud, Dirt and Sand modes and a quieter Crawl Control function join the party in 2025, while new Trailhunter hardware (borrowed from the Tacoma) joins the rest of the lineup. Buyers will be able to choose from nine 4Runner trims: SR5, TRD Sport, TRD Sport Premium, TRD Off Road, TRD Off Road Premium, Limited, Platinum, TRD Pro and the aforementioned Trailhunter, the toughest of the bunch.<br/><br/>The 4Runner Trailhunter has 33-inch all-terrain tires that raise the ride height by 2.0 inches in the front and 1.5 inches in the rear. Two-and-a-half-inch Old Man Emu forged shocks with ARB-free reservoirs dot the corners of the suspension. There's also an ARB-designed roof rack, a high-mounted air intake for the I-Force Max powertrain (standard on the Trailhunter), a 20-inch light bar, and steel skid plates. Fortunately, the new engine is small but mighty, increasing output from 310 hp (231 kW / 314 PS) for the old model, to 328 hp (245 kW / 333 PS).<br/><br/>As the only engine offered across the lineup, the turbo-four is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The model will be offered with both front- and all-wheel-drive, and it will be able to tow up to 5,000 lbs (2,268 kg).<br/><br/>Inside, Buick has focused on high-tech toys to distinguish the 2025 Enclave from the competition. That means a new, biggest-in-class, 30-inch display that stretches from behind the steering wheel to the center of the dash as standard, incorporating both the infotainment screen and the instrument cluster.<br/><br/>In addition, the new Enclave also comes with standard wireless charging for your phone, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and seven standard camera views to help you navigate tight spaces. It also comes with a rich assortment of standard safety tech, such as blind spot steering assistance, intersection automatic emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, and lane keep assist.<br/><br/>As mentioned above, Super Cruise is also available throughout the lineup, though it is an option. It always felt strange that the Volkswagen Golf R had more power than the fancier (and slightly pricier) Audi S3. But that's no longer the case. Ingolstadt's sports sedan gets a mid-cycle facelift for the 2025 model year that brings more horsepower and some extra torque to boot.<br/><br/>At the heart of the 2025 Audi S3 is an uprated turbocharged 2.0-liter gasoline engine making 328 horsepower and an estimated 310 pound-feet of torque. That's an increase of 22 hp and 15 lb-ft, enough to make the S3 stronger than a Golf R (315 hp and 295 lb-ft)—for now. VW's hot hatch is due for a facelift later this year, so there might be some extra power planned there too. In Europe, there are already special editions with 328 hp, matching the new S3.<br/><br/>The RS3's rear torque splitter trickles down to the lesser performance derivative. The technology enables fully variable torque distribution between the rear wheels. In conjunction with the newly added Dynamic Plus mode, the car sends as much torque as possible to the rear axle for a tail-happy experience. Audi doesn't call it a dedicated drift mode but does mention the S3 now has the tendency to oversteer when the sportiest settings are active.<br/><br/>Elsewhere, the 2.0 TFSI engine idles at 1,300 rpm (up by 200 rpm) for better off-the-line performance and the engineers have made the throttle response even more direct. In addition, the gear ratios are slightly shorter than before and the new S3 upshifts later and downshifts earlier to maintain a higher rpm for greater power availability.<br/><br/>It takes 4.4 seconds to hit 60 mph from a standstill, making it a tenth of a second quicker than the 2024 S3. The top speed remains unchanged, at 155 mph. There are now 235/35 Falken performance tires for the 19-inch wheels, along with bigger front brakes with perforated discs and new two-piston calipers. Audi is also fitting an evolution of the S3's electronic stability control system and stiffer bearings for the wishbone suspension to improve handling.<br/><br/>As before, we only get the four-door flavor in the United States, but the five-door Sportback also gets an update in Europe. There are some subtle styling changes to bring the S3 in line with the recently launched 2025 A3. It gets customizable LED daytime running lights by choosing from four designs via the infotainment system. The taillights show a different animation when you lock/unlock the car, and there are four fresh colors: Ascari Blue, District Green, Arkona White, and Progressive Red.<br/><br/>An ambient lighting package will be standard in the United States but that flat-bottomed steering wheel is going to cost you extra. Unlike the Golf R, there are still plenty of physical buttons below the 10.1-inch touchscreen. With the 2025MY, LED contour lighting has been added to the center console and cup holders.
