The USC Marching Band have played at national football league games, including the St. Louis Cardinals, Atlanta Falcons and Kansas City Chiefs. They have also performed for two NFL Pro Bowl football games and a few super bowls. It's a Southern University Band.<br/><br/>The band is known for being one of the most televised university marching bands in the US. In 2008, they arrived in Edinburgh, Scotland to perform at the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo becoming only the second marching band ever invited to the event showcasing the students music. <br/><br/>On their Scotland trip, they performed for a five weeks carrying out their display over thirty times. They were seen by over 217,000 live at the castle and from the BBC Broadcast, over 10 million from the UK and an additional 100 million worldwide watching the United States Marching Band. <br/><br/>This video shows the Golden Eagles Brass Bands perform Hey Baby for the Lord Provost in the City Chambers in Edinburgh, Scotland on Monday, July 28th, 2008. Also during that day, the Golden Eagles serenaded the wife of the Lord Provost during a reception not to mention singing the Southeast Alma Mater. The Student Bands tunes or US Marching songs performed include Yankee Doodle song and St Louis Blues as well as America the Beautiful.")

The bands usually form a special formation marking each year's show and theme and usually the music featured includes a mix of different paced music. In recent years the Massed Highland Dancers have joined the Pipes and Drums performance and many of the bands provide musical support to individual acts particularly accompanying the Highland Dancers but also when appropriate for other acts. For example the Cape Town Highlanders performed alongside the South Africa Navy Band in 2004 and The Black Watch were given a special march on during the 2003 performance.<br/><br/>The Massed Pipes and Drums also feature heavily during the combined Massed Bands and Pipes finale with lone piper performing at the end of the show.")

The bands usually form a special formation marking each year's show and theme and usually the music featured includes a mix of different paced music. In recent years the Massed Highland Dancers have joined the Pipes and Drums performance and many of the bands provide musical support to individual acts particularly accompanying the Highland Dancers but also when appropriate for other acts. For example the Cape Town Highlanders performed alongside the South Africa Navy Band in 2004 and The Black Watch were given a special march on during the 2003 performance.<br/><br/>The Massed Pipes and Drums also feature heavily during the combined Massed Bands and Pipes finale with lone piper performing at the end of the show.")
