The iconic Ford RS200, first launched by Ford in 1984, was engineered to compete in the World Rally Championship. Boasting a mid-engine layout, advanced four-wheel-drive system and a lightweight composite body, the Ford RS200 became one of the most revered rally cars of the century.<br/><br/>Additionally, Boreham Motorworks has been entrusted to continue some of Ford Motor Company’s most historically significant road, race, and rally icons, creating blueprint-accurate, period-sympathetic vehicles with continuation VIN numbers, the first of these being the Ford MK1 Escort. Introduced in the late 1960s the MK1 became synonymous with motorsport success with its lightweight design and advanced suspension setup that provided exceptional handling and agility on both road and rally stages.

And anything over 300 hp is considered powerful. Even at that lowest starting price point, which purposefully undercuts the Tesla Model S, the Lucid Air’s entry-level Pure model outdoes the average range by more than 25%,with a range of 419 miles. And with 430 hp, its more powerful than most sedans and right in line with the base version of the BMW i7, which turns out 449 hp and a 321 mile range at a starting price of $105,700, a $36,000 difference.<br/><br/>The Lucid Air Touring edition takes power up to 620 hp but suffers a reduced range of 365 miles, due in part to the added power and in part to the dual motor AWD powertrain. The Touring edition starts at $80,025, though a less expensive model with a 411 mile range thanks to 19” wheels is available for $77,900.<br/><br/>The next trim up is the Grand Touring model, which delivers on both power, with 819 hp, and range, with 516 miles. It also comes in a dual motor AWD configuration but is also a significant uptick in price, at $107,725.<br/><br/>Buyers who want the top of the line could buy the Grand Touring Performance edition that delivered 1,050 hp and 446 miles of range in a dual motor AWD configuration and priced from from $161,500, but it ceased production with the 2023 model year; for 2024 buyers can order the exclusive Sapphire edition which features a 3-motor AWD powertrain that generates 1,234 HP and goes 427 miles at a price of $249,000. _we-built-the-world39s-only-bugatti-aerolithe.webp "AFTER vanishing off the face of the Earth in 1936, with no clue as to its whereabouts, the one of a kind Bugatti Aerolithe has been rebuilt. The car originally debuted at the Earl’s Court Motor Show in the UK in 1935, but after its disappearance, all trace it ever existed lay in just a few photos and some blueprints of the brake pedal and radiator grill. These limitations didn’t stop classic car fanatic David Grainger and his team at The Guild of Automotive Restorers, who painstakingly rebuilt the lost car on a modified Bugatti Type 57 chassis. Using the blueprint of the radiator grill, David and his team worked out the exact dimensions, to the millimetre, of the car and then proceeded to sculpt the body using magnesium, as was done on the original. The magnesium sheets make the car extremely light and therefore increase its top speed. However, the sheets are by no means cheap, costing David around $3,000 each, of which the Bugatti Aerolithe needed 15 for its rebirth. Recreating the body wasn’t the only challenge. David needed to rebuild, from scratch, the tyres to replicate the white walled Dunlop’s on the original car, as they are no longer in production. David’s team skillfully produced identical replicas of the wheels and the Bugatti Aerolithe now stands exactly as it did before, complete with fixed windows and manual brakes.")
