It symbolises the fusion of tradition and progress like no other. The all-new electric G-Class remains true to the model’s character, retaining its angular silhouette including all iconic elements. Like the conventionally powered variants, its body is built on a ladder frame. The development team has modified and reinforced this to integrate the electric drive. Also retained is the combination of independent front suspension with double wishbones and newly developed rigid rear axle. The high-voltage lithium-ion battery integrated into the ladder frame ensures a low centre of gravity. The three-speed intelligent off-road crawl function is like cruise control for off-roading – maintaining optimum propulsion while the driver focuses on navigating the terrain.<br/>Like the tried-and-tested variants, the all-new Mercedes-Benz G 580 with EQ Technology has a gradeability of up to 100% on suitable surfaces. The vehicle remains stable on sideways slopes of up to 35 degrees. With a maximum fording depth of 850 millimetres, the electric G‑Class outperforms its conventionally powered counterparts by 150 millimetres. The LOW RANGE off-road gearing increases propulsion with a special reduction ratio. The all-new model generates the function of conventional differential locks virtually using intelligent torque vectoring. G-ROAR brings a unique sound experience to the all-new electric G-Class. In addition to a characteristic, G-Class-specific driving sound, it includes one “aura” sound and a variety of “event” sounds.

A RENOWNED automotive artist has built a $500,000 motorhome that you can drive from the roof. Randy Grubb, from Oregon, is well-known for building beautiful and unique chrome vehicles. Some of his masterpieces include the Blastolene Indy Special, Jay Leno Tank Car, Decoson and the $500,000 motorhome - the Decoliner. Inspired by the 1980s sci-fi space traveller Flash Gordon, Randy spent over $100,000 in parts and 6,000 hours in manpower on the stylised mobile home. Using the chassis of a 1973 GMC motorhome which sports a front-wheel drive, it allows the frame of the Decoliner to be very low to the ground, around 14 inches. This means that Randy had enough space to stack the vehicle as a double decker and for an additional driving position on the roof low enough to fit under most bridges and overpasses. Randy and his wife drove the Decoliner all over America, putting over 15,000 miles on the camper without being stopped for the unusual driving position.

The new CLE 53 4MATIC+ Cabriolet now joins the SL Roadster as the second model from Mercedes-AMG for open-top driving fun. With its extensive standard equipment, spacious interior and comfort features including AIRCAP® or AIRSCARF®, the four-seater is fully suitable for year-round driving. The 3.0-litre in-line six-cylinder engine with twin turbocharging has an output of 330 kW (449 hp) thanks to its exhaust turbocharger and additional electric compressor. The engine has a maximum torque of 560 Nm (600 Nm in overboost for up to 10 seconds). The integrated starter generator briefly provides an additional 17 kW (23 hp) of boost power and 205 Nm of torque. It also feeds the 48-volt electrical system. AMG’s signature A-shaped radiator grille and the sharp, slender lines of the full-LED headlights create a look that is characteristic of the brand. DIGITAL LIGHT headlights with and without projection function are available as optional equipment. They feature daytime running light ellipses and blue illumination at the base of the headlights, which further enhances the car’s dynamic appearance. The striking front skirt rises in the centre to form an A-shape (‘A-Wing’) that accommodates a large air intake for increased air flow.The same applies to the outer air intakes with two horizontal fins.<br/>Elegantly formed edges add structure to the profile. Meanwhile, flared front and rear wheel arches, a wide track (+58 millimetres at the front, +75 millimetres at the rear compared to the Mercedes-Benz model) and 19-inch wheels lend the new AMG Cabriolet a powerful appearance. Optional 20-inch wheels are also available.

He’s not ready to sacrifice his freedom for her. The rest of the story is all about how Tia tries to stay close to Jazz and hope she gets her family together. On the other hand, we’ve Jazz who’s stuck in closing the deal & how it interconnects with Tia.<br/>Apart from attention-absorbing script, it’s Saif Ali Khan’s presence that keeps you hooked. After your done being envious of how cool he looks, you’ll start laughing with him on his lame jokes. The script makes its way through comedy & drama balancing both of them equally. It’s an easy to watch, easy to recommend dramedy which is laced by some good performances.<br/><br/>There were times when the adult in me screamed for why the makers didn’t take a complete ‘A’ certificate route and made this into an A-rated affair. But then, the target audience. The pace dips in the second half when the drama takes over the driving seat. Jawaani Jaaneman holds an edge over Ajay Devgn’s De De Pyaar De which kind-of had a similar genre.<br/><br/>Saif Ali Khan, without a single iota of doubt, is the best ageing Khan of Bollywood. There could’ve been no better actor than him to portray Jazz and he breathes in a whole of swag to the character. A tailor-made role for Saif flawlessly performed & intriguingly written.<br/><br/>

Drive-by flytippers targeting a Pembrokeshire church’s cemetery have been slammed by a local councillor.<br/>County councillor for Saundersfoot’s south ward Cllr Chris Williams who has been working with Pembrokeshire County Council to tackle illegal waste disposal around the village, highlighted recent abuse of bins that sit inside the grounds of St Issells Church, with occupants of vehicles driving past, disposing of their rubbish at the spot.<br/>“Whilst work was being done on behalf of Saundersfoot Community Council at the cemetery, it was noticed that these bins were being added to by cars pulling up. One vehicle was witnessed disposing of their rubbish just over the wall!” he remarked. <br/>“These bins are for the users of the cemetery and they are collected each week by the Community Council. <br/>“My view is that the cemetery is a place for peaceful thoughts and everyone who attends their loved one’s graves always clears up their discarded flower and bouquets and disposes them into the bins provided,” he continued.<br/>“This is a cost that Saundersfoot Community Council can’t keep covering and they are now potentially looking at moving the bins from the side of the road to a more suitable position in the cemetery for their users, so they don’t get abused. <br/>“I will fully support the Community Council on this and welcome its swift action in making the cemetery as clean as possible for anyone who visits.”<br/>A list of holiday let accommodation around Saundersfoot has been included in a trial to ensure that proper waste trade agreements are in place at properties, in line with Government guidelines regarding waste and recycling.<br/>“The majority of organisations have this in place and the transition period has gone relatively smoothly across the village,” said Cllr Williams.<br/>“However, there are still a few holiday let properties who continue to flaunt the rules and dispose of their rubbish into the many local bins. <br/>“One property guest showed me the information that was in the property pack recently, which I will quote – ‘Alternatively, you may wish to dispose of your non-recyclable household rubbish on a daily basis by using the local street bins’ <br/>“This is totally unacceptable and actions by a very small minority of unscrupulous holiday homeowners are giving the majority a bad name.<br/>‘“The matter was dealt with immediately and the property in question will now have to provide an agreement for their waste to PCC as they didn’t have one.”<br/>
