New Citroen C3 Aircross Ups the Mini SUV Game with EV and 7-Seater Options.<br/><br/>Thanks to its longer wheelbase, the new C3 Aircross offers three rows of seats.<br/><br/>The second-generation C3 Aircross gets larger to make room for a seven-seat option.<br/><br/>Like its Opel Frontera cousin, combustion, hybrid and electric powertrains are available.<br/>The square-chin design carries the same cues as the smaller, five-seat e-C3 hatchback introduced last year.<br/><br/>But what differentiates the second-generation Aircross from the regular C3 isn't more legroom, it's room for more legs. The wheelbase extension gives the pocket-sized SUV a seven-seat option for the first time.<br/><br/>Citroen officially unveiled the new C3 Aircross today and, as expected, it's a mix of Stellantis products we're already familiar with. It ditches the curves, adopting the boxy design language already seen on the smaller C3 hatchback, which shares the updated 'Smart' CMP platform, and Citroen's controversial new corporate logo features proudly on the grille, whose mesh is patterned after the brand's double-striped grille.<br/><br/>And there are similarities with the South American market Aircross introduced 12 months ago, although that model features different door handles and a more traditional Citroen nose.<br/><br/>In terms of packaging, the Aircross closely mirrors the recently introduced Opel Frontera, which also uses the same architecture and will compete directly with Citroen for buyers across Europe. Neither company has revealed the wheelbase measurements for either car (they'll likely be the same), but Citroen says the Aircross is the largest in its class and that's why it can fit a third row of seats inside; This is something Opel hasn't done yet.<br/><br/>We know that overall length has increased by 240 mm (9.5 inches) over the old Aircross, with overall bumper-to-bumper length rising to 4,390 mm (172.8 inches), and Citroen says the more upright rear window means third-row passengers won't have to lower their heads .<br/><br/>Like all its small SUV rivals, the Aircross has zero real off-road purpose, despite what its ground clearance, roof bars and body cladding would have you believe. Citroen has not detailed the powertrain setups at this stage, but says combustion, hybrid and electric options will all be available.<br/><br/>This means we can expect to find the group's 1.2-liter turbo engine under the hood, both with and without 48-volt mild hybrid support. Rich Man Has Pininfarina Crafts Bespoke Reversario Opposite Anniversary.<br/>The owner of the fifth Battista Anniversario has put the twin of his electric hypercar into service.<br/><br/>Automobili Pininfarina has created a one-off order of the Battista electric hypercar for a private customer who already owns the Anniversario.<br/>Nicknamed Reversario, this vehicle has the exact opposite features compared to its Anniversarios.<br/>The lucky owner of the Anniversario and Reversario duo claims that the twin models “can never be separated because they are truly integral in design.”<br/>If you are entering the market for dedicated hypercars such as the Pininfarina Battista, you may have the privilege of being deeply involved in the development process; this can spark interesting ideas. That's what happened when the owner of the fifth of five Anniversario special editions ordered another example of the electric hypercar and asked Automobili Pininfarina designers to create the exact opposite: the Reversario.<br/><br/>The Pininfarina Battista Anniversario was released in 2020, celebrating the company's 90th anniversary, with a special livery and limited production of five units. As the name suggests, Battista Reversario creates the perfect twin by reversing the colors of the original.<br/><br/>The main bodywork and five-spoke wheels are painted in Bianco Sestiere gloss, while the upper part is painted in Grigio Antonelliano gloss. Like the original, the Iconica Blu stripe highlights the dual-tone finish with matching accents around the body. Additionally, a unique badge has been added to the lower part of the active rear spoiler, as well as the Reversario lettering on the carbon side wings.<br/><br/>The Reversario's interior is also the exact opposite of the black-themed Anniversario; It has white Alcantara and leather upholstery. STI Sport Black Interior Selection is now available for the Japanese-spec Subaru Forester.<br/><br/>The fifth-generation Subaru Forester continues to experience another model year in Japan with its carried over design and powertrains.<br/>Model year updates include the addition of the new STI Sport Black Interior Selection special edition.<br/>The US-spec Forester Wilderness' Geyser Blue is available only for Japan-spec X-Edition and XT-Edition models.<br/>Subaru may have introduced the new sixth generation of the Forester in North America, but Japanese buyers will have to make do with the current model, which has been on the market since 2018. The domestic version Forester will receive minor model year updates for 2024, including the new STI Sport. A Black Interior Select trim is available, adopting an all-black theme for the cabin.<br/><br/>The exterior of the SUV remains unchanged since its last facelift in 2021. It does, however, feature a set of STI-tuned dampers, resulting in improved credential processing.<br/><br/>Another highlight of the 2024 MY is the Geyser Blue color, available exclusively for the X-Edition and XT-Edition trims. This is the same color used on the US-spec Subaru Forester Wilderness, first introduced in Japan in late 2022 with the XT-Edition.<br/><br/>Both the X-Edition and XT-Edition trims are equipped with waterproof upholstery, durable cargo floor lining and black interior accents. The main difference is that the Forester X-Edition gets the 2.0-litre e-Boxer hybrid powertrain, while the XT-Edition gets the more powerful 1.8-litre turbocharged engine. All trims of the Forester come standard with Subaru's Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system.<br/><br/>Pricing for the 2024 Subaru Forester in Japan starts at ¥3,069,000 ($20,040). As for special trims, the X-Edition starts at ¥3,377,000 ($22,051), the XT-Edition starts at ¥3,432,000 ($22,411), and the STI Sport Black Interior Select starts at ¥3,850,000 ($25,137).<br/><br/>This may be the last model year of the fifth-generation Subaru Forester in the Japanese market.
