Fans like to complain. Comic book movie fans really like to complain. And DC Studios fans basically live to complain online. OK, not ALL of them. But given the volume of grievances logged by DC fans on social channels over the years—especially as they watch all the DC Films in order—it’s safe to say they are a “Prove It To Us” fanbase. Which is what current DC Films Co-President James Gunn tries to do. He explains his decisions. He practices transparency. And when fans have questions, he usually answers them online.

Like when casting announcements started rolling out regarding co-stars for James Gunn’s planned \

A group of friends have brought their skills together to transform an old-school Volkswagen Beetle, named Tope, in order to take part in one of the world’s most ruthless races. The Baja 1000 is a Mexican desert race which takes place annually in the Baja California Peninsula. It’s the longest point to point off-road race in the world, that's run in a single day. Josh McGuckin, one of Tope's mechanics, explained how much of a challenge preparing for the race was for the team. He told FutureStudiosCars: “Driving this car in the Baja 1000 can be summed up for me in one word, exhausting.” To an outsider the car would appear as just a “really old bugg” but once inside, “suddenly it just comes to life”. Starting with the VW Beetle was a huge undertaking for the team, as they had to modify the classic 1970 car to be suitable for the incredibly harsh conditions. However, the extreme nature of this race did take its toll on the well-loved vehicle, “every time you come back from a race, you’re constantly rebuilding and replacing everything”, Josh explained. The bugg may not be the fastest car, but it’s capable of doing the job for this team. And the teamwork paid off as Tope triumphantly reached the finish line. Josh spoke about his relief and elation, “every time we race this car, we learn something new.\

STORY: Mr. Raj Kapoor (Ashwin Kaushal), a resident of Sunflower housing society, is found dead in his apartment. When the police officers begin their investigations, majority of the residents and frequent visitors become suspects. Will the cops be able to crack this case?

REVIEW: Based in Mumbai, ‘Sunflower’ revolves around a murder that occurs in a middle-class housing society of the same name. When Mumbai police officers— Digendra (Ranvir Shorey) and Chetan Tambe (Girish Kulkarni) begin investigating the case, they suspect nearly everyone. However, Sonu Singh (Sunil Grover), a simpleton living in the same society, is drawn into the murder mystery and becomes the prime suspect. What happens next forms the crux of the story.

This engaging eight-part situational crime comedy is co-written by Vikas Bahl (writer-director of popular Bollywood films 'Queen' and 'Super30') and Chaitali Parmar. Along with Rahul Sengupta, Vikas wears the director's hat in this series, which marks his digital debut as well. Right from the start, the audience is aware of how one of the society's occupants (Raj Kapoor) died. But it’s the narrative—which revolves around the investigation proceedings and how everyone fits into the suspect category—that has been interestingly penned down with a dash of humour and plenty of thrills.

The screenplay is intriguing throughout, thanks to its quirky characters with odd tics and characteristics that define them, as well as the subplots that blend well into this character-driven plot. For instance, Sonu Singh, a 35-year-old eccentric salesperson with Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), keeps everything perfectly organised—from his foot mat to everything on his work table. Dilip Iyer (Ashish Vidyarthi) is another character who aspires to be the chairman of Sunflower Society in order to make it a happier place to live. Imagine he has a committee of members that interview everyone who wishes to stay in this society and have stringent rules against allowing unmarried people, divorcees, queers, and so on. Then there's Mr Ahuja (Mukul Chadda), a lecturer by profession with a smirky appearance and a courteous demeanour, and his ever-supportive wife (Radha Bhatt). Overall, the majority of the scenes revolve around a small group of society members, depicting everything from internal society politics to nosy neighbours.

While the first few episodes keep you hooked primarily due to the involvement of so many characters and their personal lives, as well as their link to the crime, there are some that drag on, especially those involving Sonu caring for Mr. Tondon (Sameer Kakkar). Ideally, the shorter episodes and tight editing (by Konark Saxena) would have aided the plot's progression while maintaining the show's pace. The background score composed by Sahej Bakshi and Vesh Shrivastava is interesting and complements the story well.

Sunil Grover plays Sonu Singh to perfection, never straying from his role as a lonely man with no social circle

#GangsofWasseypur
A clash between Sultan and Shahid Khan leads to the expulsion of Khan from Wasseypur, and ignites a deadly blood feud spanning three generations.
Sardar sets out to avenge his father who was murdered by Ramadhir Singh, a cunning politician and mining kingpin. In the ensuing war, many unresolved family feuds erupt creating unrest.
Prologue In January 2004 , a gang of heavily armed men scour and finally narrow down on a house in Wasseypur. They surround the house and unleash a wave of bullets and grenades on it with the intention of killing the family inside it. After heavy firing on the house, they retreat from the crime scene in a vehicle, convinced they have killed everyone within. The leader of the gang then calls J.P. Singh on his cell phone and reports that the family has been successfully executed but he is double crossed by JP Singh as a fire fight erupts between them and a police check post blocking their escape route. The scene cuts abruptly for a prologue by the narrator, Nasir. The whole scene is then revealed in the sequel.

Introduction of Wasseypur and Dhanbad Nasir's narration describes the history and nature of Wasseypur. During the British Raj, Wasseypur and Dhanbad were located in the Bengal region. After India gained its independence in 1947, they were carved out of Bengal and redistricted into the state of Bihar in 1956. In 2000, Wasseypur and Dhanbad were redistricted for a second time into the newly formed state of Jharkhand where they remain. The village has been historically dominated by the Qureshi Muslims, a sub-caste of animal butchers who are feared by the non-Qureshi Muslims living there and Dhanbad by extension.

During British colonial rule, the British had seized the farm lands of Dhanbad for coal which began the business of coal mining in Dhanbad. The region was a hotbed of the local faceless robber Sultana Qureshi who robbed British trains in the night and thus held some patriotic value for the locals.

1940s In 1941 , Shahid Khan (Jaideep Ahlawat), a Pathan, takes advantage of the mysteriousness of the faceless robber Sultana, a Qureshi, by impersonating his identity to rob British ferry trains. The Qureshi clans eventually find out and order the banishment of Shahid Khan and his family from Wasseypur. They settle down in Dhanbad where Shahid begins work as a laborer in a coal mine. He is unable to be at his wife's side during childbirth, and she dies. The enraged Shahid kills the coal mine's muscleman who had denied him leave on that day. In 1947, independent India begins to assert its authority over itself. The British coal mines are sold to Indian industrialists and Ramadhir Singh (Tigmanshu Dhulia) receives a few coal mines in the Dhanbad region. He hires Shahid Khan as the new muscleman of one of the coal mines. Shahid terrorizes the local population to seize their lands and extract compliance.
