But did you know that fraudsters can scam you even without these details? The request money fraud has been on the rise, and you can become a victim even if the fraudster just knows your phone number.<br/><br/>What is collect-call/request money?<br/><br/>The ‘Request’ feature on the PhonePe app allows a person to send you a payment request where the amount is filled in by the requester.<br/><br/><br/>Request Money on PhonePe<br/>Once someone has sent in a request, a pop-up opens up on your PhonePe app.<br/><br/><br/>You can pay by just clicking on the ‘Pay’ button and entering the UPI PIN.<br/><br/><br/>Pay using the collect call request pop up<br/>You can also ‘Decline’ the request, in which case the request stands invalid. Before declining, you can block the requester as well — this will prevent all future payment requests being raised to you by that person.<br/><br/>Here’s how Request Money frauds work:<br/><br/><br/>Fraudsters responding to your sale listings on Quikr, OLX and other sites<br/>You post a product listing on OLX, Quikr or a similar site. The fraudster spots your listing and gives you a call saying that are interested in buying the product. <br/><br/>The fraudster will then ask you to open your PhonePe app while you are on the call, and send you a collect-call request for the same amount as your listing. A lot of times the fraudsters use the PhonePe logo as their profile picture, which you can see in the collect call request. They also put a message right above the ‘Pay’ button with instructions like ‘Once you pay, you will receive money.’<br/><br/>This is a fraudulent message. You never need to click on the ‘Pay’ button or enter your UPI pin to receive money on PhonePe.<br/><br/>A few examples of such fraudulent messages are “Payment successful receive Rs. xxx”, “You received money”, “To receive click here for bank transfer”, and so on.<br/><br/><br/>A collect-call request with a fraudulent name and message<br/>2. Fraudsters pretending to be representatives of companies like Flipkart, Myntra etc.<br/><br/>In such scenarios, the fraudster will usually call and congratulate you stating that you have won money and they need to transfer it to Flipkart, PhonePe or any third party wallet. They may even tell you that you can purchase anything while on the call and they will enable this purchase for you.<br/><br/>This is what a fraudulent collect call looks like in this scenario:<br/><br/><br/>The fraudster has used a company’s logo & name in this collect-call request<br/>Please remember, no company or merchant will send you a collect-call request to transfer money or make a purchase on your behalf.<br/><br/>3. Fraudsters pretending to be PhonePe customer support representatives<br/><br/>In such scenarios fraudsters circulate fake helpline numbers on Twitter, claiming to solve problems related to money transfers, cashback, KYC etc. on the app.

#quran #para28 #juz28<br/>Juz 28 commences with Surat al -Mujadilah. The Surat gives instructions about secret conversations. The Quran teaches us the social manners of going into meetings and giving room to newcomers. The Surat ends by describing the dedication and loyalty of true believers.Juz 28 continues with Surat al-Hashr, it is a Madani Surat and was revealed after the Battle of Uhud, in the fourth year after Hijra, 627 CE. The central theme is the expulsion of the tribe of Banu al-Nadir from their fortresses in the south of the city.The third Surat in Juz 28 is Surat al-Mumtahana. The lessons we learn are from this:<br/>Don’t base your judgements on guesswork<br/>Allah and His Messenger have a forgiving nature<br/>Always be loyal to your community<br/>Juz 28 continues with Surat al-Saff. The Surat criticises those who broke their pledge. By giving the example of Musa and Isa, the Surat challenges the Jews and the Christians to examine their Books. Next is Surat Al-Jumuʿah that is a Madani Surat and highlights the importance of the Friday prayer, stressing the significance of this important weekly lesson, the sermon. Worshippers are encouraged to rush for the Friday sermon as it is an important socio-political gathering where the leader of the community addresses the congregation. The true believer will give precedence to the worship of Allah, over all worldly things.Juz 28 continues with Surat al-Munafiqun. The next Surat of juz 28 is al-Thaghabun deals with life Hereafter. It warns that wealth, spouses and children will be a temptation that could lead to breaking Divine laws. Surat al-Talaq is a Medinan Surat, which deals with divorce. It outlines the correct method to be followed, the prescribed waiting periods, maintenance and custody of the children including the breastfeeding of any child.The last Surat of Juz 28 is al-Tahreem. This surah gives us the lessons of:<br/>Not to make unlawful that which Allah has made lawful<br/>How to amend and atone for vows<br/>Not to betray trusts and give away secrets<br/>The whole family should work together to save themselves from the Hellfire<br/>Seek repentance for sins done intentionally .<br/> #quran majeed #quran kareem #quran pak<br/> #para28 #juz28 #sopara 28
