Unfortunately, the extra weight reduces range to the same 311 miles from the 98 kWh battery as the entry-level car.<br/><br/>All three make do with 400 volts of electricity and a prodigious 160 kW DC charging speed that can add 62 miles (100 km) of range in 10 minutes or fill the battery from 20 to 80 percent in 30 minutes. Users who mostly want to charge at home get an 11 kW onboard charger as standard, but can upgrade it to 22 kW for faster top-up.<br/><br/>On the hybrid side of the menu, the 5008 will launch with the same 134 hp (136 PS) 48-volt mild hybrid 1.2-liter triple engine currently offered to 3008 drivers. The 5008 Hybrid 136 e-DCS6's electric motor is hidden inside the mandatory six-speed dual-clutch transmission driving the front wheels, and is claimed to reduce fuel consumption by 15 percent over the equivalent (hypothetical) non-hybrid 5008.<br/><br/>Peugeot also says the mild hybrid can only operate in up to 50 percent electric mode in low-speed urban driving conditions. Buyers who want more EV miles but not a true EV will have to wait until 2025, when the 195 e-DCS7 PHEV will hit the market. It combines a 123 hp (125 PS) electric motor with a 148 hp (150 PS) combustion engine and can travel 49 miles (79 km) in zero-emission mode.<br/><br/>Inside, except for the extra seats, the E-5008 looks like a spit of its smaller companion. Peugeot's 21-inch panoramic i-Cockpit display comes as standard on both the Allure and GT; Two trim levels are also available; so do ambient lighting, a wireless phone charger, keyless entry and LED headlights. GT models don't get more horses or range miles to justify the badge, but they do give you two-tone paint with a black roof, 20-inch wheels, heated and power Alcantara seats, and adaptive cruise.<br/><br/>Peugeot won't mention prices until its September on-sale date, but given that the mild-hybrid 3008 Allure starts at £34,650 ($44,400) in the UK and an EV version of the same car is around £11,000 ($14,000), it's more likely that the base ICE 5008 will cost We'd expect it to be just under £40k ($51k) and the entry-level EV to be around £50k ($64k). The latter accommodates 18.6 cubic feet (526 liters) of trunk, but this can be increased to 54 cubic feet (1,529 liters) by folding the rear seats. If that's not enough space, the trunk has a capacity of 2.3 cubic feet (64 liters).<br/><br/>The Q6 e-tron rides on Premium Platform Electric (PPE) and features twelve modules, 180 prismatic cells and a newly developed lithium-ion battery with a gross capacity of 100 kWh. This gives the model a range of up to 388 miles (625 km), although the EPA figure is said to be more than 300 miles (483 km).<br/><br/>In the United States, the Q6 e-tron will produce 422 hp (315 kW / 428 PS) and 456 hp (340 kW / 462 PS) with launch control. When the second system is activated, the crossover will be able to reach 60 mph (96 km/h) in about five seconds. If the driver keeps his feet upright, the model will eventually reach a top speed of 210 km/h (130 mph).<br/><br/>The international version is slightly less impressive at 382 hp (285 kW / 387 PS). This results in a slower 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) time of 5.9 seconds, but top speed remains unchanged.<br/><br/>Finally, the SQ6 e-tron has 483 hp (360 kW / 489 PS), but with launch control this value reaches 510 hp (380 kW / 517 PS). Thanks to its extra power, reaching 96 km/h takes approximately 4.2 seconds, while the top speed increases to 230 km/h.<br/><br/>When the battery is low, drivers will appreciate the 270 kW DC fast charging feature. It allows the model to reach a range of 158 miles (255 km) with a ten-minute charge. If you're not in a hurry, the battery can go from 10% to 80% in about 21 minutes.<br/><br/>The Q6 e-tron will be available in the third quarter and prices in Germany start from €74,700.
