It is practical, fuel-efficient, and rugged-looking. Available all-wheel-drive systems add a little bite to the stylistic bark of an SUV that’s actually best when tackling familiar suburban tasks. It offers plenty of features and its wide price range suits shoppers of many budgets. A 2.5-liter four-cylinder and eight-speed automatic deliver restrained acceleration in the name of good fuel economy. It provides plenty of standard equipment that the LE and XLE don't offer as standard or at all, such as fog lights, 19-inch wheels, a power liftgate, a moonroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, faux-leather upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, and soft-touch armrests. Toyota makes its suite of driver-assistance features standard across the lineup, so there's not much reason to go with a pricier trim—unless, of course, you need rugged looks or ventilated seats.")

_exploring-the-2024-toyota-rav4-features-performance-and-more.webp "2024 Toyota RAV4<br/>Starting at $30.025<br/><br/>Highs: Distinctive looks, a bundle of standard safety features, does every job without fuss.<br/>Lows: No flair beyond the exterior design, average acceleration and handling, base trim is spare and best avoided.<br/>Verdict: Newer rivals are beginning to close the gap, but the RAV4’s practicality, affordability, and ease of use still demonstrate why it's regularly one of America’s best-selling vehicles.<br/><br/>Overview<br/><br/>The Toyota RAV4 turns 30 this year, and it is still obvious why the compact crossover regularly ranks as the best-selling non-pickup in the U.S. There’s nothing flashy here; the RAV4’s focus is on getting every job done without a fuss. It is practical, fuel-efficient, and rugged-looking. Available all-wheel-drive systems add a little bite to the stylistic bark of an SUV that’s actually best when tackling familiar suburban tasks. It offers plenty of features and its wide price range suits shoppers of many budgets. A 2.5-liter four-cylinder and eight-speed automatic deliver restrained acceleration in the name of good fuel economy. Beyond the attractive base price, cargo-friendly interior, and sensible road manners, Toyota also includes a host of driver-assistance tech and desirable infotainment features as standard, two more ways the RAV4 continues to be a challenge for rivals to overcome. A hybrid and a plug-in-hybrid powertrain are also available, but we review those models separately.<br/><br/>What's New for 2024?<br/><br/>Army Green, a paint color already seen on several of Toyota's bigger trucks and SUVs, makes its way to the RAV4 this year. The hue will be offered on the Adventure and TRD Off-Road trims as a no-cost option. A two-tone color combo will also be available for these variants, paired with either a white or a black roof.<br/><br/>Pricing and Which One to Buy<br/>The price of the 2024 Toyota RAV4 starts at $30.025 and goes up to $39.645 depending on the trim and options.<br/>LE: $30,025<br/>XLE: $31,535<br/>XLE Premium: $34,425<br/>Adventure: $36,220<br/>Limited: $38,330<br/>TRD Off-Road: $39,645<br/><br/>Although we’re drawn to the TRD Off-Road, we'd practice restraint and choose the mid-range XLE Premium. It provides plenty of standard equipment that the LE and XLE don't offer as standard or at all, such as fog lights, 19-inch wheels, a power liftgate, a moonroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, faux-leather upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, and soft-touch armrests. Toyota makes its suite of driver-assistance features standard across the lineup, so there's not much reason to go with a pricier trim—unless, of course, you need rugged looks or ventilated seats.")

As a result, the BMW X5 Protection VR6 also meets the requirements of the Association of Test Centres for Attack-Resistant Materials and Constructions (VPAM) with regard to bullet and blast resistance.<br/><br/>The chassis technology of the BMW X5 Protection VR6 is precisely tuned to its high engine output and individual weight balance. It is equipped as standard with the Adaptive M Chassis Professional, which, in addition to the M Sport Differential, includes an integrated active steering system and active roll stabilisation. Its 390 kW/530 hp V8 engine delivers outstanding dynamics, while the standard sport brake system ensures consistently high stopping power, even under intensive use.")

It will be undergoing a series of tests until late April, aiming at the delivery of the first model, planned for late summer 2024.<br/><br/>MCXtrema, a non-road-homologated race car produced in 62 units, was created to break the mould and invent new paradigms. The epitome of Maserati DNA and of the extraordinary performance characteristic of everything the 100% Italian brand produces, MCXtrema offers up evidence of its disruptive attitude to racing between the curbs of the circuit where it could be seen in action in a series of fundamental tests to gather the data needed for the final tune-ups.
